FAQs
Where are you certified and licensed to provide BCBA services?
New York and New Jersey. I am currently accepting clients in Manhattan, and the following New Jersey counties: Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Essex, Morris, Monmouth, and Mercer County.
Do you provide individualized treatment plans?
Yes. For ABA clients, every client will go through an intake process which involves a clinical interview, skill and behavior assessment. For others, a questionnaire is used to collaboratively develop goals and a plan to meet them.
Can you collaborate with other services myself or my child is receiving?
Yes! Once any relevant consent forms are signed, collaboration is absolutely possible.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Out-of-Network (OON) benefits are utilized if a single case agreement (SCA) cannot be reached. In an SCA, insurance companies will reimburse OON providers as if they were in network, provided that an argument can be made that no in-network providers are available or suitable to meet your needs. If needed, in-work may also be an option, though there will be a waiting period as in-network requests are processed. JD ABA can handle interactions with your insurance company when needed to help you understand your options.
Are your services provided in a clinic or in-home?
For ABA clients, services are rendered in home and in the community. Telehealth may be utilized for parent coaching, program/intervention development, portions of initial and reassessments, and IEP meeting support.
